Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about using Koadi Technology.

What is Koadi Technology?
Koadi Technology is a US IT support marketplace that connects clients who have technology problems with qualified, vetted IT professionals across the United States. Clients post a job describing their issue, technicians respond with bids or accept fixed-price Quick Assistance requests, and payment is handled securely through our escrow system.
How does escrow payment work?
When you confirm a technician for a job, your payment is placed into escrow — a secure hold managed by the platform. The technician performs the work and marks the job complete. You then review the work and release the payment. If you are not satisfied, you can raise a dispute. The technician never receives payment until you approve it.
What is the difference between Quick Assistance and a Bid job?
Quick Assistance is a fixed-price job for straightforward, well-defined tasks — you post the job with a set price and an available technician accepts immediately. A Bid job is for more complex or custom work — you describe the problem, technicians submit competitive quotes with their proposed price and approach, and you choose the best offer.
How do I become a technician on Koadi?
Register an account and select the Technician role during sign-up. Complete your profile with your skills, experience, and bio. Once verified, you can browse available jobs, submit bids on projects that match your expertise, or accept Quick Assistance requests instantly. Your ratings grow as you complete jobs successfully.
What types of IT issues does Koadi support?
Koadi supports a wide range of IT services including: network setup and troubleshooting, hardware repair and installation, software installation and configuration, cybersecurity, data recovery and backup, cloud services setup, device setup (phones, printers, routers), email configuration, and general IT consulting. If it involves technology, you can post it.
What are the platform fees?
Koadi charges a transparent platform fee on each completed job. The fee amount is clearly shown before you confirm any job or payment — there are no hidden charges or surprise deductions. Both the client's total cost and the technician's payout are displayed upfront, so everyone knows exactly what they are agreeing to.
