Terms of Service

Welcome to Koadi Technology ("Koadi", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using koaditech.com and the Koadi mobile applications (together, the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms.

1. The Platform

Koadi is a marketplace that connects clients seeking IT services with independent technicians who provide them. Technicians are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Koadi. Koadi is not a party to the service agreement formed between a client and a technician, but we facilitate payment, escrow, and dispute resolution as described in the Koadi Guarantee.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information, including a verified phone number. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or abuse the Platform.

3. Payments and fees

Client payments are processed by Stripe and held in escrow until the client approves the completed work. Koadi retains a platform fee from the technician's payout at the rate displayed at the time the job is escrowed. Tips are optional and pass to the technician in full. Chargebacks filed while a dispute is open may pause payouts pending resolution.

4. Conduct

You agree not to: circumvent the Platform to avoid fees on work sourced through Koadi; misrepresent your identity or qualifications; post unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive content; or interfere with the Platform's operation.

5. Cancellations, disputes, refunds

Cancellation and refund behavior is described in the Koadi Guarantee. Our dispute decisions on escrowed funds are final within the Platform, without limiting rights you may have by law.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The Platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koadi's total liability for claims arising out of the Platform is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid Koadi in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent technicians, though the Guarantee applies as written.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
