Does it cost anything to join?
No. Signing up is free and quoting on jobs is free — no lead fees, no monthly charges. Koadi earns a share only when you complete a job and get paid, so we only make money when you do.
When and how do I get paid?
The client's payment is secured before you start work. When they approve the finished job, your earnings are released and paid out to your bank account through Stripe — no invoicing, no chasing, no "check's in the mail."
Do I choose my own prices?
Yes. On bid jobs you quote your own price. You always see exactly what you'll earn before you accept a job.
What do I need to start?
A government ID for verification, real skills, and a professional attitude. Certifications and proof of insurance are optional but displayed on your profile — insured techs earn an "Insured" badge that helps win jobs.
Can I work remote only?
Absolutely. Plenty of technicians never leave their desk — the screen-share and calling tools are built in. On-site work across NJ, NY and PA is optional, and it's there when you want it.
What about tips?
Happy clients can tip after a job. Tips are 100% yours — Koadi takes nothing from them.
